Shamna Kasim Has No Near Marriage Plans!

Shamna Kasim, who rose to fame with her movie Chattakkari, has announced that she has no near plans of getting married. She says that marriage is a long term commitment towards a person and at this point of career, where she has numerous offers in hand, Shamna hesitate to get settled. She says that she will be getting married only after two years.

Shamna has recently changed her name to Poora for movies. She is a professional dance too and has done many stage shows. Though a Malayali, Shama is getting more offers from Tollywood and Tamil movies. She has recently played the lead role in the last week released Tamil movie Jannal Oram, which is indeed the Tamil remake of the Malayalam movie Ordinary.

Shamna is popularly known as Poorna in Tamil industry. Vijay fans mention her as junior Asin. Shamna Kasim is more popular as a stage performer for filmy events. She made entry into films through Manju Poloru Penkutty.

In Chattakaari, Shamna played the role of a girl who falls in love with her friend's brother and later gets pregnant by him. He goes to US for a job. Her family keeps her away from his contacts and later comes to know that she is carrying. She is forced to get an abortion, but she denies and gives birth to a baby boy. In the climax, both re-unite with the help of a friend.
