Shutter Gets A Hindi Remake

Joy Mathew's Shutter was a keenly observed drama on human predicament. It is a movie that is still lingered in your mind. Shutter is getting its Hindi remake. Alphonse Puthren, the director of the movie Neram, is remaking the film. Alphonse guarantees that the Hindi remake will not be a photocopy of the earlier Shutter.

The cast of the film is yet to be finalised, but the crew will be the same as that of his earlier film Neram. The Hindi remake too will keep the title as Shutter, says the director. Alphonse claims that he was very much impressed by the film and the script, and this tempted him to take its remake. Alphonse has plans to remake his Neram too in Hindi, but it will happen only after Shutter.

Shutter movie starred Lal, Sreenivasan, Vinay Forrt, Sajitha Madathil and Riya Saira. The film had its Indian premiere at the 17th International Film Festival of Kerala and International Premiere at the 9th Dubai International Film Festival. It won the Silver Crow Pheasant Award for Best Feature Film (Audience Prize) at the17th International Film Festival of Kerala.
