Solar Scam: Actress Shalu Menon Gets Bail, But Still In Jail!

Actress Shalu Menon pleaded for two bails in the High Court, of which one gets approval. She got her bail for her involvement in helping the accused kingpin Biju Radhakrishnan escape to Coimbatore. She was refused bail for her case in cheating Rasiq Ali for an amount of Rs 70 lakh. So, Shalu will remain in jail.

Shalu Menon was arrested from her house at Changanacherry. Primarily, she refused her involvement in solar scam. Later, she accepted that she was involved with Team Solar. After that, the accused Saritha S Nair opened up on Biju Radhakrishnan's involvement in the Solar Scam, who was in relationship with Shalu Menon. She also added that they had plans of getting married.

Last week a letter was put before the media, which was claimed to be written by Biju to Shalu. The letter showed Biju's intense love for the lady. Though Biju's Counsel refused the letter's origin, all went in vain.

Shalu's bail hearing was on Friday. She was given the bail for helping the accused Biju in escaping as the court finds the crime not that serious.

Other celebrities whose names were dragged in solar scam are Uthara Unni and Sandhya.
