When Germany Mayor met Mammootty

Thiruvananthapuram: Malayalam Superstar Mammootty, who is busy shooting Kadal Kadannu Oru Mathukutty (KKOM) in North Rhine Westphalia, recently had a surprise guest on the sets of the movie. And the guest was none other than the Mayor of the town in Germany, Brent Gunter. Now, a picture of Mammooka posing with the Mettmann Mayor in Germany is going viral on the social-blogging network Facebook.

According to reports, along with his wife, Brent Gunter paid a surprise visit to Mettmann Square, where Mammootty was shooting for the film Kadal Kadannu Oru Mathukutty. The Mayor, who had been to Kerala for an Ayurveda treatment, reportedly spoke to the Malayalam superstar and shared his wonderful experiences that he had during the visit to the state.

Mammootty started shooting for director Ranjith's upcoming movie Kadal Kadannu Oru Mathukutty in Ernakulam. The actor moved to Kozhencherry for the next schedule of the film in April. He is currently busy filming for it at North Rhine Westphalia in Germany. Madhu Neelakandan is handling the camera. Interestingly, Mohanlal is playing a cameo role in it.

Kadal Kadannoru Mathukutty is the story of Mathukutty (Mammootty), who is an unemployed non-resident Indian. He is a lovable and a social person who maintains a warm relationship with everyone who crosses his path. Settled in Germany, he organises a cultural show and he is in charge of receiving the Malayalam stars like Mohanlal, Dileep, Prithviraj and other superstars.
