Manju
Warrier's
comeback
movie
Man
Friday
has
once
again
made
it
to
the
headlines,
but
this
time
for
a
controversy.
The
movie,
which
cast
Mohanlal
and
Manju
in
the
lead
roles
has
hit
the
controversy
as
to
who
will
be
the
producer
of
the
film.
Ranjith,
who
is
the
director
of
this
film,
had
already
given
a
promise
to
the
Seven
Arts,
one
of
the
leading
producers
in
the
Malayalam
industry,
that
he
will
make
them
produce
his
next
film
after
Kadal
Kadannu
Oru
Mathukutty
(KKOM).
KKOM
was
directed
and
produced
by
Ranjith
itself.
Later
he
announced
his
project
Man
Friday
with
Mohanlal
and
Manju
Warrier.
As
per
the
promise
Seven
Arts
believed
that
Man
Friday
would
be
produced
by
them.
But
to
their
surprise
Anthony
Perumbavoor
announced
that
he
is
producing
Man
Friday
under
the
banner
of
Aashirvad
Films.
Seven
Arts
had
produced
the
earlier
Ranjith
flick
Baavuttiyude
Naamathil,
which
ended
the
producer
in
a
huge
financial
crisis.
Due
to
the
same
Ranjith
had
promised
Seven
Arts
Vijayakumar
that
he
will
do
his
next
project
for
him.
But
now
Vijayakumar
has
landed
in
a
dilemma.
Director
Ranjith
has
not
made
any
statement
with
respect
to
this
issue
which
is
the
biggest
confusion.
Aashirvaad
Films
has
clearly
stated
that
they
will
not
withdraw
from
producing
Man
Friday
at
any
cost.
Now
all
we
have
to
do
is
to
wait
and
see
who
will
produce
Man
Friday
-
Seven
Arts
or
Aashirvaad
Films?
