Festive
times
are
special
for
the
Malayalam
movie
industry.
Especially
Onam
and
Christmas
are
the
peak
periods
for
the
movie
industry;
as
these
are
the
seasons
which
will
have
the
maximum
movies
releasing
in
a
year.
But
this
time,
it
will
be
a
dull
Christmas
season
for
Malayalam
movies.
As
of
now,
most
of
the
highly
anticipated
projects,
including
Lailaa
O
Lailaa,
Fireman,
Mili,
Picket
43,
Ivan
Maryada
Raman
etc,
which
were
expected
to
hit
the
theatres
for
Christmas,
has
postponed
their
releases
into
January
2015.
As
of
now,
Cousins
and
Aamayum
Muyalum
are
the
movies
which
hit
the
theatres
for
Christmas.
But
both
the
movies
earned
highly
negative
reviews
from
the
audience
and
critics
and
has
already
declared
as
flops.
Nagara
Varidhi
Naduvil
Njan,
which
stars
Sreenivasan
and
Sangitha
in
the
lead
roles,
is
expected
to
be
released
tomorrow.
The
popular
movies
which
were
slated
to
hit
the
theatres
for
Christmas,
postponed
the
releases
due
to
the
lag
in
the
filming
and
post-production
works.
So,
it
will
be
a
dull
Christmas
for
the
Malayalam
movie
audience.
