Aashiq Abu-Rima Kallingal Launched 1983 Trailer!

1983 is a much hyped movie for the year 2014. Starring Nivin Pauly and Nikki Galrani in the lead, the movie spins a tale around the cricket and the life of ardent cricket lovers. The film is all set to hit the screen on January 31. The trailer of the movie was launched by none other than the recently married couple Aashiq Abu and Rima Kallingal.

Rima even posted the link of the trailer in her official Facebook page saying likewise, "For all those who couldn't see the earlier trailer link of the movie '1983'!".

1983 is directed by debutant Abrid Shine and is produced under the banner of LJ films, It also depicts how the world cup win of India in 1983 has inspired the youth of Kerala. Apart from Nivin and Nikki, the movie also cast Saiju Kurup, Joy Mathew, Dineshan Nair, Sanju, Seema G Nair, Srinta Ashab, etc., are seen in supporting roles. Santhosh Varma has penned the lyrics and Gopi Sunder has composed the music. The movie is produced by TR Shamsudeen under the banner of Shams Films.

Anoop Menon is seen as Vijay Menon, the cricket coach. The movie shows a time period of 30 years right from 1983 to 2013, in the backdrop of village beauty. The movie throws light on the unconditional passion for cricket by the villagers.
