Anusree Turns Action Heroine!

Anusree, the versatile actress, who made a mark with a bunch of fantastic roles, turns action heroine for her upcoming movie, Ithihasa. The movie revolves around Alby, a thief who accidentally possess the body of a girl named Janaki, due to some mysterious reasons.

Shine Tom Chacko plays the protagonist Alby, a thief and Anusree plays Janaki, a traditional girl from Palakkad, who is an IT proffessional. Anusree will perform some high voltage action scenes in the movie. The movie's trailer shows that the actress is all set to mesmerise the audience with her new avatar.

Anusree was the winner of an acting reality show, and that paved her way into movies. The actress made her debut with Lal Jose directed Diamond Necklace, in which she played one of the three female leads. She played Kalamandalam Rajashree, a small town girl, who gets married to Fahad's character Dr. Arun.

Her performance earned rave reviews and the actress was praised for her matured acting skills and extra-ordinary comic timing. Anusree appeared in some sought out movies of recent times such as Redwine, Left Right Left, Angry Babies etc.

Ithihasa is directed by debutante Binu S and penned by Anish Lee Asoka. P Sreekumar, Swapna Menon and Balu Varghese will play the supporting roles in the movie. Sinoj handles the cinematography and Jovin John handles the editing. Deepak Dev composes the music. The movie is produced by Rajesh Augustine under the banner Arka Media Works.
