Asif Ali Criticizes Malayalam News Channels

Asif Ali, the actor who is well-known for his outspoken nature, criticized Malayalam news channels, in a recent interview. Asif alleges that the tendency of the news channels, to fabricate the initial reports of the movie, is the actual reason behind failures of the recently released projects, including Hi I'm Tony.

The actor expressed his deep displeasure upon the Malayalam news channels, for fabricating the issues regarding Hi I'm tony and alleged that the media is completely responsible for the failure of the movie. Earlier, two girls were attacked by a group of youngsters who claimed to be Asif Ali's fans, for revealing the suspense factor and posting negative reviews about Hi I'm Tony in Facebook.

Asif Ali Criticizes Malayalam News Channels

Most of the news channels reported the story, and alleged that Asif Ali is the master mind behind the attack. The reports affected the performance of the movie at box office negatively. Hi I'm Tony earned highly negative reviews from both audience and critics; and finally emerged as a flop.

Asif states that the audience are highly influenced by the initial reports published by the media. He also criticized the tendency of the film makers to create misleading teasers and trailers, which gives a completely different picture for the audience, about the movie and it's theme.
