in

key
role
in
upcoming
romantic
drama
Ennu
Ninte
Moideen.
The
movie
is
written
and
directed
by
newcomer
R
S
Vimal.
The
director
confirmed
that
Bala
will
be
playing
a
footballer,
who
is
a
friend
of
the
protagonist
played
by
Prithviraj.
Reports
also
say
that,
Bala's
character
will
have
a
grey
shade,
and
he
will
be
playing
the
antagonist
of
the
movie.
Ennu
Ninte
Moideen
is
a
movie
based
on
the
real
life
love
story
of
Moideen
and
Kanchanamala,
which
happened
in
1960's
in
the
backdrops
of
Calicut.
Prithviraj
will
essay
the
title
role
Moideen
and
Parvathy
Menon
will
enact
Kanchanamala.
Prithviraj
was
chosen
to
play
Moideen,
upon
the
insistence
of
real-life
Kanchanamala,
as
she
felt
that
Prithviraj
have
a
huge
resemblance
of
Moideen.
The
movie
has
already
made
head
lines
as
it
is
the
first
Malayalam
movie
to
use
digital
story
board.
The
director

S
Vimal
has
already
made
a
documentary
Jalam
Kondu
Murivettaval,
which
was
also
based
on
the
lives
of
Moideen
and
Kanchana.
The
movie
was
officially
launched
at
Trivandrum
on
9th
July.
Lal,
Thalaivasal
Vijay,
Lena
and
Tovino
Thomas
will
play
the
supporting
roles.
Jomon

John
handles
the
cinematography
while
the
music
has
been
composed
by
Ramesh
Narayan
and
M
Jayachandran.
The
shooting
will
go
on
floors
by
23rd
July.
