Director Vinayan Goes Against Innocent Contesting In Election!

As we all know, AMMA president and actor Innocent is all set to contest in the upcoming Lok Sabha election. He is contesting as the CPM candidate from Chalakkudy. Now, director Vinayan has come forward, commenting against Innocent contesting in the election.

The director said, "Is the people's party in such a dilemma? With Innocent contesting in election for CPM, we can now clearly understand the ideology of CPM in the current scenario. The current leaders are just spoiling the great CPM hereditary that has been build up by the great communist leaders by making such people contest as their candidate.

Does the party expect Innocent, who acts more like an agent of superstars, to do comedy inside the parliament? It is to be remembered that innocent even dared to criticize the late legend Sukumar Azhikode in favour of superstars.

At this point of time I remember Innocent, who had promised me to do a role in my film Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njanum, stepped back from the movie knowing that a simple man from Chalakkudy is playing the lead role in the film and made fun of him by calling him by his caste. Later, Janardhanan replaced him in this film."
