Double Barrel To Beat Bangalore Days?

Mollywood is anxiously waiting for the release of the much anticipated multi-starrer Double Barrel. The movie is written and directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery. Double Barrel is jointly produced by Prithviraj, Santhosh Sivan, Shaji Nadesan and Lijo Jose Pellissery, under the banners August Cinema and Amen Movie Monastery.

Double Barrel will have a huge star cast including Prithviraj, Indrajith, Asif Ali, Sunny Wayne, Tamil actor Arya, Swathi Reddy, Parvathi, Rachana Narayanankutty, Isha Sharvani, Pearly Maaney, Vijay Babu, Anil Murali, Chemban Vinod Jose, Sajid Yahiya etc. Reports suggest that Double Barrel will beat the recent blockbuster Bangalore Days, with its extra large star cast and a huge budget.

Bangalore Days is one of the most celebrated multi-starrer of recent times. The movie created huge anticipation from the beginning of the filming itself, with the presence of the most promising young actors, Fahadh Faasil, Dulquer Salmaan, Nivin Pauly in the lead roles. The movie also become the center of attraction with the wedding announcement of the lead pair, Fahadh Faasil and Nazriya Nazim. Post release, Bangalore Days broke all collection records and finally emerged as the second highest ever grosser of Mollywood.

When it comes to Double Barrel, the expectations are riding even high on the movie, due to his promising star cast, which features a bunch of most promising young actors and the crew which includes some talented young technicians, including Abhinandan Ramanujan, who handles the cinematography and music director Prashanth Pillai. The movie, which reportedly revolves around the Goan under-world, is slated to release for January 2015.
