After
Titanic,
a
South
Indian
movie
and
that
too
a
Malayalam
film,
finally
completes
100
days
in
Abu
Dhabhi.
Drishyam,
directed
by
Jeethu
Joseph
and
Starring
Mohanlal
and
Meena
in
lead
roles
has
successfully
completed
100
days
of
journey
in
the
country.
As
per
reports,
the
movie
was
released
in
Abu
Dhabi
on
January
2
and
it
was
running
with
packed
shows
across
the
country.
It's
still
being
shown
at
Eldorado
for
the
noon
show.
"This
is
the
second
movie
after
Titanic
and
the
first
South
Indian
movie
to
complete
100
days
in
the
UAE," Ebrahim
Thottassery,
theatre
manager
at
Eldorado.
After
Titanic,
Drishyam
has
become
the
only
movie
to
complete
100
days
and
it
is
indeed
a
great
achievement
for
the
whole
crew
of
Drishyam
as
they
are
getting
more
and
more
commendability
for
their
work.
Drishyam
told
the
story
of
a
determined
husband
and
father
of
two
who
spares
no
effort
to
protect
his
family
when
it
falls
on
the
wrong
side
of
the
law.
The
movie
did
won
critical
acclaim
for
its
well-crafted
plot
and
screenplay.
Critics
also
claim
it
to
be
one
of
the
best
performance
by
the
actor
too.
This
is
one
of
those
rare
Malayalam
movies
that
has
generated
interest
even
among
the
Non-Malayali
audience.
Even
Tamil,
Kannada
and
Telugu-speaking
families
are
coming
to
watch
it,"
said
a
staff
at
Eldorado.
