Dulquer Salmaan Is Not In Thira 2?
Dulquer Salmaan, the handsome hunk of Mollywood, is on a high with a handful of movies including Mani Ratnam directed upcoming Tamil movie, which is reportedly titled as Ok Kanmani. Dulquer is one of the busiest young actors of M-town and has already established himself as one of the leading actors of contemporary Malayalam cinema.
It was speculated that Dulquer Salmaan will be playing the lead role in the sequel of Vineeth Sreenivasan’s latest directorial venture Thira. But, in a recent interview, Dulquer stated that he is not interested in doing remakes and sequels; and is looking forward for original scripts. This revelation hints that the actor has no intentions to act in Thira 2.
Thira is the first part of a trilogy. Director Vineeth Sreenivasan has revealed that Thira will be having two more parts, which are planned to release by 2015 and 2016. He also confirmed that Shobana, who played the central character in Thira, will be reprising her role Dr Rohini Pranab in the sequels as well.
Vineeth also revealed that Thira 2 will have a popular young actor of Mollywood in lead role and he will also star in Thira 3, along with Shobana and Dhyan Sreenivasan, who played the lead in Thira. The media and audience are keenly waiting for the official announcement about the lead actor of Thira 2, from the director Vineeth Sreenivasan.
