Fahad Fazil To Play Kozhikkode Abdul Kader

Fahad Fazil is one of the most finest actors of his generation. The actor is wellknown for his exceptional acting skills and brilliant selection of movies. Reportedly, Fahad will be playing the legendary singer Kozhikkode Abdul Kader in the upcoming biopic movie Paattukaran, directed by debutant M G Ranjith. The news was confirmed by the director himself.

“Fahad is impressed with the script; but he is yet to sign the project, as he is extremely busy with the marriage preparations and other movie commitments. If every thing falls at place, the movie will go on floor by the beginning of 2015” - said the director.

Paattukaran is penned by Najim Noushad. The rest of the cast is yet to be finalised. The movie, which is said to be a musical drama, will have a famous music director of South Indian film industry handling the music score.

Kozhikkode Abdul Kader, who is called as Kerala Sehgal, was famous for his exceptional singing talent. He made a mark with the famous song Engane Nee Marakkum Kuyile, from the movie Neelakuyil. He has lended his voice for 8 movies and many dramas.

Fahad Fazil, who is all set to marry actress Nazriya Nazim, have a handfull of projects in his kitty. Reportedly, the actor is also approached to play the legendary Malayalam poet Changambuzha, in the biopic directed by National Award winning director Priyanandanan.
