The cast and crew of the movie Varsham celebrated the victory of the movie with a grand success meet, in Dubai. Lead actor Mammootty, director Ranjith Sankar, lead actress Asha Sarath and the other cast and crew members were present at the party.
Mamta Mohandas, the actress who played another pivotal role in the movie and Master Prajwal Prasad, who essayed the character of Mammootty's son and some other main actors couldn't attend the party due to busy schedule.
Varsham is one of the highest grosser of recent times and has been receiving highly positive reviews from the audience and critics. The movie is considered as one of the finest movies of Mammootty in the recent times.
Mammootty has been receiving great reviews for his performance as Venu, a doting father who looses his only son unexpectedly. Asha Sarath, who plays the female lead opposite Mammootty in the movie is also well-prasied for her portrayal of a normal housewife.
Varsham is considered as the best work of Ranjith Sankar till date. The director, who made his directorial debut with the acclaimed movie Passenger, stands out of the crowd for his impeccable expertise in film making.
According to the latest reports, the popular production banenrs of South Indian languages and Bollywood are keen to purchase the remake rights of the movie. But the reports are not officially confirmed yet.
