Iyobinte Pusthakam To Release On November 7th

Iyobinte Pusthakam, the upcoming movie directed by Amal Neerad, is all set to be released on November 7^th. The movie will star Lal, Fahadh Faasil and Jayasurya in the lead roles. Lal essays the title character Iyob; while Fahadh plays Aloshy and Jayasurya plays Angoor Ravuther. Iyobinte Pusthakam is produced by Fahadh Faasil and Amal Neerad, under the banners Fahadh Faasil & Friends and Amal Neerad Productions.

The movie, which is said to be a period drama, set in the backdrops of Munnar in pre-independence era, is scripted by Gopan Chidambaram and Shyam Pushkaran. Iyobinte Pusthakam was earlier slated to release on October 30^th, but later postponed due to unknown reasons. Amal Neerad himself announced the actual releasing date of the movie, recently.

The official trailer of Iyobinte Pusthakam was released on September 26^th. The highly impressive trailer was well received by the audience and critics; thus raising the expectations on the movie. The first song of the movie Raave was released on October 11, and has already entered the hit charts. The music is composed by Neha S Nair & Yakzan Gary Pereira, and the song is sung by Neha herself, along with Haricharan Seshadri.

Iyobinte Pusthakam will have Padmapriya, Isha Sherwani, Reenu Mathews and Lena as the female leads. T G Ravi, Jinu Joseph, Sreejith Ravi, Anil Murali, Vinayakan and Chemban Vinod Jose plays the other pivotal roles. Amal Neerad himself handles the camera and Praveen Prabhakar handles the editing. The movie is distributed by A&A Release.
