Janani Iyer Is Too Busy!

Janani Iyer, who made her debut in Kollywood, came into the Malayalam industry with the movie 3 Dots, playing opposite Kunchacko Boban. Later, the actress never had a reason to turn back. She was poured with offers from the industry and became busy in Mollywood.

Now, people came to a conclusion that Janai Iyer is busy in Mollywood, and so she has no recent plans of returning back to Tamil. The actress, who lives in Chennai, slams these claims and says that she will always be in the Tamil industry. It is true that Mollywood has more offers for her, but the actress also have movies in Tamil too.

Janani said, "After Avan Ivan and Paagan, I bagged 3 Dots opposite Kunchacko Boban in Malayalam. The movie led to more Malayalam films like Edison Photos and Mosaiyale Kudhira Meenukal. So people thought that I was packing my bags and shifting to Mollywood. That's not true at all. I'm very much in Chennai and plan to continue doing Tamil films."

Janani plays the female lead in the upcoming Tamil movie Thegidi. "I play a de-glamourous role, the girl-next-door types who works for an IT firm. Ashok, my co-star, is a student of criminology. How our lives intertwine is the story. For me, the best part was that the shoot was in Chennai. I could go home after work each day, unlike my earlier films! Since Ashok and I are of the same age, going to work each day felt like I was going to college to hangout with buddies!"

Koothara and Seventh Day are her upcoming movies in Malayalam. Mohanlal, Sunny Wayne, Gauthami Nair, Bharath and many others are also seen in Koothara. The actress is indeed very excited to play opposite Mohanlal within a short span of her career. Prithviraj plays opposite her in 7th Day.
