Jayasurya,
the
versatile
Malayalam
actor,
is
all
set
to
play
the
lead
in
Priyadarshan's
upcoming
comedy
Aamayum
Muyalum.
In
a
recent
interview,
the
actor
confirmed
that
he
is
playing
the
lead
in
the
Priyadarshan
film.
Jayasurya,
who
is
a
die-hard
fan
of
Priyadarshan,
is
very
excited
about
the
project.
He
says
that
it
is
a
dream-come-true
opportunity
for
him.
He
is
currently
filming
for
Apothecary,
directed
by
Madhav
Ramadasan,
Iyobinte
Pusthakam
directed
by
Amal
Neerad,
Lal
Bahadur
Shastri,
and
Seconds.
His
son
Adwaith
makes
his
on-screen
debut
with
Lal
Bahadur
Shastri.
The
actor
will
soon
join
the
sets
of
Aadu
Oru
Bheekarajeeviyanu,
directed
by
debutant
Midhum
Manuel
Thomas.
Priyadarshan
was
reportedly
planning
a
movie
with
Fahad
Fazil
and
Keerthi
Suresh.
But
the
project
got
delayed
due
to
Fahad's
tight
schedule.
His
last
directorial
venture,
Geethanjali,
which
was
a
spin-off
of
blockbuster
movie
Manichithrathazhu,
was
huge
box
office
disaster.
The
movie
earned
highly
negative
reviews
for
its
weak
execution.
Aamayum
Muyalum
is
reported
to
be
an
out-and-out
entertainer.
Model
Pia
will
be
essaying
the
female
lead
opposite
Jayasurya
in
the
movie.
Nedumudi
Venu,
Innocent,
Harisree
Ashokan
and
Manianpilla
Raju
will
play
other
important
roles
in
the
movie.

Sreekumar
handles
the
music
department.
The
movie
is
slated
to
release
for
Christmas.
