Kalabhavan Mani To Host A Reality Show!

Kalabhavan Mani, who is currently keeping away from the industry, is all set to change his track as an actor to that of a host. Yes, the actor is all set to host a reality show in the popular Malayalam channel Kairali TV.

Kalabhavan Mani will host a show on folk songs (Naadan Pattu), of which he is all famous. There are about 20 contestants in the show and the programme will start from next month.

The reality show has been titled Mani Melam. It was Kalabhavan Mani who made the folk songs very much popular. He used to sing all the songs that his father had taught him in his childhood days. He never missed any stage without performing at least 4-6 folk songs, which has indirectly made the songs very popular.

The actor used to go emotional while singing and used to tell that he used to fight out his hunger by singing these songs during his earlier days. The actor, who is down to earth, also says that folk songs have more life in it when compared to normal filmy songs.

Meanwhile, Kalabhavan Mani was in news recently after he was sent a summons by the customs to report before them. He was caught hold at the airport with a bracelet, which he was wearing and when the officials had asked about the source, the angry actor threw it to them and had walked off the place!
