Mammootty And Marthandan For 'Acha Dhin'

Mammootty and Marthandan will team up again for an upcoming project titled Acha Dhin. The actor recently posted the first look poster of the movie in his official Facebook page. Marthandan made his directorial debut with Mammootty starrer Daivathinte Swantham Cleetus.

Reportedly, the director is planning to complete the Mammootty starrer before his announced project Paavada. Marthandan says that Acha Dhin will be a complete family entertainer, which will be portrayed in the backdrop of Ernakulam city. The rest of the cast and crew are yet to be finalized. Acha Dhin is expected to go on floors by the end of February.

Daivathinte Swantham Cleetus, the first association of Mammootty and Marthandan, was an average grosser at box office and earned mixed reviews from the audience and critics. Mammootty, who played a local goon, sported a completely different look for the movie.

Acha Dhin is penned by A C Vijeesh, who has earlier penned Lal Jose directed Mammootty starrer Emmanuel. Pradeep Nair handles the cinematography. Bijibal composes the music. Rathish Raj will handle the editing. Acha Dhin is produced by Mammootty's close associate S George, under the banner Celluloid Creations. The movie is expected to hit the theatres for Vishu.
