The
year
2014
seems
to
be
a
busy
year
for
not
only
Mohanlal,
but
for
Mammootty
too.
His
Praise
The
Lord
is
all
set
to
get
released
on
March
21
and
his
movie
Gangster,
which
completes
its
shooting
recently,
is
getting
released
in
April.
Now,
news
say
that
the
pooja
of
yet
another
Mammootty's
flick
was
held
in
Calicut.
This
upcoming
Mammootty
flick
is
titled
Munnariyippu.
It
is
directed
by
cinematographer
turned
director
Venu.
This
is
his
second
venture
as
a
director.
The
debut
flick
was
Daya,
which
had
Manju
Warrier
playing
the
lead
role.
The
movie
even
won
him
the
Sate
Award
for
Best
Debutant
Director.
Aparna
Gopinath
is
said
to
play
the
female
lead
in
this
movie.
Nedumudi
Venu
will
also
be
seen
in
a
pivotal
role.
R
Unni
has
written
the
script
for
the
film.
The
movie
will
be
produced
by
director
Ranjith
under
the
banner
of
Gold
Coin
Motion
Pictures.
Ranjith's
production
company
was
earlier
called
Capitol
Theaters
and
this
is
a
new
company
started
by
Ranjith
and
his
friends.
Meanwhile,
Ranjith's
next
project
is
rumoured
to
be
having
Dulquar
Salman
in
the
lead.
The
movie
is
said
to
have
three
heroines
and
the
reports
say
that
the
hunt
for
the
female
leads
have
already
begun.
Much
details
are
yet
to
be
revealed.
His
project
with
Mohanlal
and
Manju
Warrier
was
cancelled
due
to
some
reasons.
So,
the
director
has
to
make
a
comeback
very
soon
with
a
bang!
