Mammootty's Gangster Censored 'A' Certificate!

The much anticipated Mammootty starred movie Gangster is all set to get released on April 11. Directed by Aashiq Abu, the movie has Mammootty playing the role of a gangster Akbar Ali Khan. The movie has been given an A certification by the Censor Board.

Reports claim that Gangster movie has more elements of violence in it. Moreover the language usage is also too rude to handle. The movie is all about the lives of gangsters and their smuggling. So, the contents couldn't be removed and so, the Censor Board gave an A certification for the film.

Gangster has no item dances in it. There is only one song in the film and that is more of a devotional kinda. The promotional song for the film has been composed and sung by the famous Thaikkudam Bridge. The movie has a whole run of 137 minutes.

Earlier this week, the solar scam based movie Solar Swapnam was also given an A certification by the Censor Board as the movie had many intimate scenes and also item dances.

The satellite rights of the movie Gansgter has been bagged by Kairali TV. It is to be noted that Mammootty is the Chairman of Kairali TV and he only plays the lead in Gangster!
