Antony's
next
directorial
venture,
which
is
reportedly
titled
as
Dance
Dance.
Mammootty
will
play
a
bar
bouncer
in
the
movie,
which
is
said
to
be
an
out-and-out
comedy
entertainer
set
in
the
backdrop
of
Dubai.
Mammootty
and
Johny
Antony
has
joined
hands
earlier
for
the
movies
Thuruppu
Gulan,
Ee
Pattanathil
Bhootham
and
Thappana.
Thuruppu
Gulan
earned
mixed
reviews
from
the
critics;
but
emerged
as
the
highest
grosser
of
2006.
But
Ee
Pattanathil
Bhootham
and
Thappana
earned
negative
reviews
and
did
average
performances
at
boxoffice.
Johny
Antony
made
his
directorial
debut
with
Dileep
starrer
comedy
CID
Moosa.
The
movie
went
on
to
become
the
highest
grosser
of
2003,
and
got
remade
into
all
South
Indian
Languages.
After
a
series
of
comedy
entertainers,
Johny
Antony
changed
his
track
with
the
investigative
thriller
Masters,
with
Prithviraj
and
Tamil
actor-director
Sasikumar
in
the
lead
roles.
The
movie
earned
postive
reviews
from
the
critics;
but
failed
to
do
well
in
the
boxoffice.
The
director
is
now
filming
for
his
upcoming
movie
Bhaiya
Bhaiya,
starring
Kunchako
Boban
and
Biju
Menon
in
lead
roles.
Mammootty's
Eid
release
Manglish
is
now
running
successfully
in
theatres.
His
upcoming
movie
Munnariyippu,
directed
by
Venu,
is
all
set
to
release
on
August
22nd.
The
actor
is
currently
filming
for
his
upcoming
flick
Rajadhi
Raja.
He
will
be
next
seen
in
Ranjith
Sankar's
Varsham
and
Salim
Ahamed's
Pathemari.
