his
next
directorial
venture.
The
duo,
who
made
so
many
superhits
like
New
Delhi,
Nirakottu,
Dhruvam
and
Nair
Saab,
are
joining
hands
after
a
gap
of
6
years.
Mammootty
last
teamed
up
with
Joshiy
in
Twenty
20,
the
biggest
multi-starrer
movie
of
Indian
Cinema,
produced
by
actor
Dileep
for
the
Malayalam
actors
association,
AMMA.
Joshiy's
Mammootty
starrer
will
go
on
floors
immediately
after
the
filming
of
his
upcoming
movie
Lailaa
O
Lailaa,
starring
Mohanlal
and
Amala
Paul
in
lead
roles.
Reportedly,
scenarist
Ranjan
Pramod
has
started
the
scripting
for
the
project.
Rest
of
the
cast
is
yet
to
be
decided.
Joshiy's
last
two
releases
Lokpal
starring
Mohanlal
and
Avatharam
starring
Dileep
earned
mixed
reviews
and
became
average
grossers
at
the
boxoffice.
The
director
hopes
to
recreate
the
magic
done
by
Run
Baby
Run,
with
his
upcoming
movie
Lailaa
O
Lailaa,
which
marks
his
reunion
with
the
team
Run
Baby
Run.
Mammootty
is
back
to
form
after
a
series
of
flops,
with
the
excellent
reviews
earned
by
Munnariyippu
and
boxoffice
success
of
Rajadhi
Raja.
The
actor
is
currently
filming
for
Ranjith
Shankar's
upcoming
movie
Varsham.
He
will
start
filming
for
Jean
Paul
Lal's
upcoming
untitled
movie
and
Siddique
directed
Rascals
after
winding
up
Varsham.
