Manju Warrier and Rima Kallingal will share screen in Aashiq Abu’s upcoming movie, reportedly titled as Ragini Padmini. The movie, which is said to be a women centric flick, will have Manju and Rima in the title roles. Rest of the cast and further details of the movie are yet to be revealed.
Earlier, it was reported that Rima Kallingal will be playing the lead role in Aashiq Abu’s upcoming moive Oppana. But the movie is reportedly delayed due to unknown reason. Ragini Padmini will go on floors immediately after Manju Warrier completes the untitled Sathyan Anthikad project, in which she pairs up with Mohanlal.
Manju Warrier, who inaugurated Rima Kallingal’s dance school Mamangam, shares a great bond with the actress-director couple. She has always stated that Rima and Aashiq are her close friends from film industry. Rima, on the other hand, has always stated that she is great fan of Manju Warrier and is looking forward for an opportunity to work with her.
Rima Kallingal is currently active with her dance school and is all set to play the lead role in upcoming movie Chirakodinja Kinavukal, which stars Kunchako Boban and Sreenivasan in the lead roles. Manju Warrier, who made a comeback with Roshan Andrews directed How Old Are You, is currently filming for Sathyan Anthikad’s Mohanlal project.
