Manju Warrier To Enter Bollywood?

There are not many Malayalam actresses who have tried their luck in Bollywood. Asin Thottumkal is the only star, who has been able to set her foot in B'Town till day. Amala Paul recently declined an offer to pair opposite Akshay Kumar. Now, news claim that the next card slot is for Manju Warrier, who has recently made her comeback in the industry after 14 years.

Manju Warrier is reportedly to be seen in the Hindi remake of the superhit Malayalam film Koodevide, directed by the late director Padmarajan. News were in air that Prithviraj will be producing this movie and will also be playing the role essayed by Mammootty in the Malayalam version. Manju Warrier will reprise Suhasini in the Hindi remake.

V Priya, who had assisted ace director Mani Ratnam, will be directing this movie in Hindi. Bijoy Nambiar will be producing this movie. The rest of the cast and crew are yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, Manju Warrier is currently filming for her comeback movie How Old Are You. Kunchacko Boban plays her husband in this movie. She has also signed another movie opposite Mohanlal, directed by Sathyan Anthikkad.

If things go well, the remake of Koodevide will mark the debut of Manju Warrier in Bollywood.
