Manju Warrier To Join Hands With V K Prakash

Manju Warrier, who made a comeback into movies recently, will reportedly play the lead role in V K Prakash's next directorial venture. The movie, which is said to be based on an acclaimed theatre play, deals with a women oriented theme. According to the reports, the movie will also have another prominent actress in the lead role.

Manju Warrier will be next seen in Sathyan Anthikad's Mohanlal movie, which is about to go on floors by September. The actress has already shared screen with Mohanlal in the movies, Aaram Thamburan, Kanmadam and Summer In Bethlahem.

Manju made a comeback after a long interval of 14 years with Roshan Andrews directed How Old Are You. The movie went on to become a huge success and is all set to be remade into all South-Indian languages and Hindi as well. Actor Suriya has purchased the remake rights of the movie for his home banner 2D Entertainment. Manju's role will be reprised by Jyothika, who is also planning to make a comeback.

V K Prakash, who made a mark with the movie Beautiful starring Jayasurya and Anoop Menon, is going through a rough phase after the back-to-back boxoffice failures; including Mammootty starrer Silence.His latest project Mazhaneerthullikal starring Meera Jasmine and Narain in lead roles, is all set to get released. V K Prakash is currently filming for the Marathi remake of the acclaimed movie, Shutter, directed by Joy Mathew.
