Onnum Mindathe is an upcoming Malayalam movie starring Jayaram and Meera Jasmine in lead roles. As reported earlier, Jayaram has also crooned a song in this movie. This is more like a comeback movie for the actress Meera Jasmine, who recently entered wedlock.

Manoj K Jayan also plays a key role in the film. He essays Jayaram's friend in the film, who comes to visit his school friend after many years. The song is played when the two friends meet in the film. According to director Sugeeth, "What dominates is the feel of nostalgia in this track. Moreover, we needed to capture a natural feel through it without many sangathees. We had to retain the simplicity and the wow factor of the song. This is why we urged Manoj to sing the track and he did an awesome job."
