Swapaanam
was
one
of
the
most
astounding
movie
in
2013,
featuring
Jayaram
and
Kadambari
in
lead
roles.
Directed
by
Shaji
N
Karun,
the
movie
was
the
first
to
get
premiered
at
DIFF.
Now,
the
movie
receives
all
praise
from
Martial
Knaebel,
the
previous
director
of
Fribourg
International
Film
Festival
Switzerland
Martial
Knaebel
wrote
a
letter
to
Shaji
N
karun
praising
the
movie.
The
letter
is
as
follows:
Dear
Shaji,
I
watched
your
SWAPAANAM
a
few
days
ago
and
wanted
to
let
some
time
before
writing
to
you.
Just
to
let
my
mind
thinking.
The
story
is
strong,
very
classical
"Romeo
&
Juliet" of
impossible
love,
between
two
independent
and
strong
characters.
Strong
because
of
their
arts.
The
lady
(Kadambari)
charmed
me
with
her
magical
dances
and
most
of
all
because
of
her
righteousness.
I
liked
also
the
room
left
to
the
music
(Chenda)
which
was
quite
a
third
character.
I
watched
with
my
wife
Evelyn:
we
stayed
captive
during
the
whole
film.
In
brief
something
very
good.
I
gave
the
DVD
screener
to
Mr.Walter
for
him
to
watch
as
well.
Let's
see
what
he
will
say...
Now
I
have
a
question:
I
found
in
a
srilanka
store,
the
rice
from
Kerala.
How
do
I
cook
it?
Warm
regards
