Mohanlal And Joy Mathew To Share Screen

Mohanlal and Joy Mathew will share screen in the upcoming movie Lailaa o Lailaa, directed by Joshiy. The actors are acting together for the first time in their careers. Joy Mathew has always expressed his desire to work with Mohanlal and stated that he have a great admiration for Mohanlal's extraordinary acting skills.

Joy Mathew, who is well-known for his outspoken nature, had declared his support for Mohanlal through his Facebook page, when director Dr Biju criticized Mohanlal for being partial towards the higher castes and insulting the tribal communities with his dialogue in the latest release, Peruchazhi.

This incident led into a big social media fight between Joy Mathew and Dr Biju; but the actor stayed strong in his opinion by stating that, director and scenarist are the ones who decide what an actor should talk onscreen; so Mohanlal should not be blamed for that dialogue. Joy Mathew also made another controversy by asking Dr Biju to take medical treatments as soon as possible.

Lailaa O Lailaa is penned by Kahaani fame Suresh Nair. Amala Paul plays the female lead in the movie. Tamil actor Sathyaraj and Ramya Nambeesan will essay the other pivotal roles. Amit Mishra composes the music for the movie, which is produced by Finecut Entertainments. Lailaa O Lailaa is slated to release for Christmas.
