Mohanlal Launches 'Lalisom'
Mohanlal is all set to launch his new music band which is reportedly named as “Lalisom” today. The actor revealed a photograph and the details of his music band launch, through his official Facebook page. Lalisom will beofficially launched in Cochin today. Mohanlal is joining hands with the popular music director Ratheesh Vega, for the new band. Further details and the confirmation on the name of the band are yet to be announced.
Mohanlal made a hint about his new project, which is a band; through his official Facebook page with a photograph clicked by renowned photographer Mahadevan Thampy and a message which goes on like this: Something unique and awesome is about to unveil... Can u guess?
Later, it was officially confirmed that the actor is starting a music band, associating with music director Ratheesh Vega. Mohanlal last sung a song for a movie under the composition of Ratheesh Vega. The song which starts Aattumanala Paayayil, from the movie Run Baby Run was the chartbuster of the year. Mohanlal, who made his singing debut with the song Neeyarinjo Melemanathu from the movie Kandu Kandarinju, which he sung along with actor Mala Aravindan.
The actor has sung for various popular movies and romantic & devotional albums. His popular songs are AEIOU from the movie Ey Auto, which he sung along with singer Sujatha and Akkuthikkuthaana kombil, the title song of his blockbuster movie Manichitrathazhu. He had also lend voice for popular Tamil actor Abbas, for the song Kaithapooovin from the movie Kannezhuthi Pottumthottu.
