Mollywood Stars Who Survived Cancer
The disease cancer is so dreadful that each sufferer is bestowed with looks of kindness and sympathy. All they need during this time is positive energy and a right attitude. There are quite a number of Mollywood actors who have battled cancer with courage and hope. Actors like Mamta Mohandas, Innocent and Jishnu are living examples that show a brave heart can keep death at bay.
Most of the stars are now back into the industry and are happy with their new life. Mamta and Innocent were seen in movies To Noora With Love and Geethanjali after their chemo. Jishnu is said to do a movie very soon. But, there are some who keeps away from movies but, are seen during award functions and other events.
So, these stars are more or less a source of encouragement for the rest who suffers from the disease. Not only Mollywood stars but, celebrities from other industries also endured this pain and now they are back in action. People were shocked to see Manisha Koirala after her treatment. Yuvraj Singh, the cricketer is also an inspiration to many.

Mamta Mohandas
Mamta made her debut in the industry with the movie Mayookham where she played a cancer patient and it looks like a coincidence when the world came to know that the actress is suffering the same in her real life too.
She tweeted: What can u do for a cancer patient known or unknown 2u this week? Think about it... Make it meaningful... And DO IT! Show them theres HOPE.
Jishnu
Many people did not even knew that Jishnu was suffering from cancer until the actor himself posted a picture of him after his chemo.
The actor wrote: "By Gods grace and your prayers , the surgery I had to go through was successful. I am back home now and recovering. The cancerous tumour was completely removed... for complete recovery I guess it will take another six months. Thanks a lot for your prayers and support."
Innocent
Innocent is yet another victim of cancer. He is now MP from Kerala. He battled cancer along with his wife who also suffers from the same disease.
Kollam Thulasi
This yet another actor who has battled the disease and is now on a safer side. He says that he could recover from the disease with the support from his family and friends.
Gauthami
Gauthami is another celebrity who suffered from cancer and is now leading a happy life. She got the disease at the age of 35.
She said "The strong women characters I played in Malayalam films helped me a great deal to fight the battles in my own life. Each of those characters is special to me," the actress said when she visited Thiruvananthapuram.
Sreevidhya
This actress is sure to bring tears into your eyes as she is no more. But, the brave lady fought with the disease till her last breath, did a television seriel Avicharitham, in which she played a cancer patient.
