My Mother Forced Me Into Movies, Says Ansiba Hassan

Ansiba Hassan, though made her debut into movies through Kollywood, rose to fame with her donne role in the movie Drishyam, which is the most suuceesful movie for the year 2013. She played a plus two student in the film, who becomes a murderer due to circumstances. Ansiba says that it was her mother who pushed her into the field of acting.

Ansiba says that she never thought of becoming an actress in her life. But, her mother is in so mush of love with movies and the profession that Ansiba was forced to become an actress. Now, she says that she is aso much in love with her profession and that she wants to achieve more as an actress.

Ansiba says, "I want to break an image that I have created. I don't want to stick to one particular thing and just keep doing it. In fact I am in the my final year of my graduate programme and feel awkward when people of my age come to me and call me 'mole'. And that is the prime reason why I am tying my hand at romance now."

Ansiba says that she will soon begin with the shooting of her upcoming Malayalam movie John Honai, where she is paired opposite Krish J Sathar. She plays a mature character in the film, who works in a travel agency in Dubai. Ansiba hopes to break the image she has created in Drishyam.
