Nisha Agarwal Replaces Bhavana In Cousins

Nisha Agarwal will replace Bhavana as the female lead opposite Indrajith in Vaishak directed Cousins. The makers opted for a replacement because the movie, which is set in the backdrops of Kerala-Bangalore border, demands a non-malayali face for the character.

Cousins, which is said to be a complete comedy entertainer, revolves around the characters of four cousins, played by Kunchako Boban, Indrajith, Suraj Venjarammoodu and Joju George.

Vedhika, who made her Malayalam movie debut with Sringaravelan, will pair up with Kunchako Boban in the movie. Earlier, it was confirmed that Bhavana will play another female lead opposite Indrajith. But reportedly, she is replaced with Nisha Agarwal.

Nisha Agarwal will soon make her Malayalam debut with Johny Antony directed Bhaiya Bhaiya, opposite Kunchako Boban. The actress, who is very active in the Telugu and Tamil movie industries, is the younger sister of popular actress Kajal Agarwal.

Cousins will also have Nedumudi Venu and Kalabhavan Shajone in pivotal roles. Bollywood actor Pradeep Rawat will play the antagonist in the movie. The movie is penned by Sethu. Pradeep Illampilly handles the cinematography. The film, which will be shot at Kochi, Bangalore, Pollachi, Kodaikanal and Athirapally will go on floors by August 10.
