Nivin Pauly With Dulquer Salmaan In Mani Ratnam Movie?

Reportedly, Nivin Pauly will play one of the lead roles along with Dulquer Salmaan in Mani Ratnam's next directorial venture. The movie is rumoured to be a remake of Mani Ratnam's blockbuster movie Mounaragam. A R Rahman will compose the music for the movie.

It was reported that Dulquer Salmaan will be playing the lead role in Mani Ratnam's next movie. The latest reports state that the movie will also have Nivin Pauly. According to the reports, Nivin and Dulquer will reprise the roles done by Mohan and Karthik respectively in Mounaragam. The news is not confirmed, as the official announcement is yet to happen.

Nivin Pauly and Dulquer Salmaan has already shared screen in the recent blockbuster, Bangalore Days, directed by Anjali Menon. The actors shared a great camaraderie, which was well appreciated by the audience and the critics. If the Mani Ratnam's movie is the remake of Mounaragam, Nivin and Dulquer won't be having combination scenes in the project.

It is also rumoured that, Bollywood's new sensation Alia Bhatt is approached to play the female lead in the project; but the none of the informations are confirmed yet. Earlier, Fahad Fazil was rumoured to be acting in a Mani Ratnam movie. But the actor brushed off the rumours by stating that it is not a Mani Ratnam directed project; but a project titled Money Ratnam.
