Nobody Has Approached Me For Njan Gandharvan Sequel: Nitish Bharadwaj

Nitish Bharadwaj, the television superstar who became the hot favourite star of household with his portrayal of Lord Krishna in B R Chopra's Mahabharath, states that nobody has approached him for the sequel of Njan Gandharvan.

Nitish played the title character, Gandharvan in the Padmarajan directed classic movie Njan Gandharvan. It was rumoured that the actor will be playing the lead in the sequel also; but Nitish cleared the rumours and stated that he has absolutely no idea about the sequel.

The actor also added that, a famous Malayalam cinematographer had approached him with a movie offer last week; but nothing is finalised yet. He also added that, he doesn’t mind acting in the Njan Gandharvan sequel, if the makers want him to reprise the role.

Nitish also recollected that, Padmarajan had a project in his mind, with Him and Mohanlal in the lead roles; but the project shelved due to the sudden death of the director.

Nitish Bharadwaj has acted in the famous TV series Mahabharath, Vishnu Puran and Ramayan. He was active in the Marathi films also. Nitish made his directorial debut last year, with the Marathi movie Pitru Roon, with Tanuja, Suhas Joshi and Sachin Khedekar in the lead roles. The movie was a critical and commercial success and Nitish won the Maharashtra State Film Award for Best Second Director for the movie.
