No Regrets About The Statement Made On Mohanlal: Dr Biju

Dr Biju, who made a controversial Facebook post against Mohanlal and the recently released movie Peruchazhi, stated that he have no regrets about the statement he made and is not bothered about the social media responses of Mohanlal fans. The director also added that he will definitely criticize such actions of any actor, including Mohanlal and Mammootty and doesn't care about their star status.

Dr Biju was responding to the responses made by the Mohanlal fans in social media regarding his controversial Facebook post, which alleges that Mohanlal is a spokesperson of higher castes and the actor purposefully insulted the tribal communities with a dialogue he delivers in the movie, Peruchazhi.

Dr Biju has become a new prey of social media attacks with his alleged statements; but the director said that he is not willing to withdraw his statement or to delete the particular Facebook post. He also added that, popular actors should have some social commitments and it is their duty to address all the communities with equal share of respect.

Dr Biju has directed some critically acclaimed movies such as Saira, Veettilekkulla Vazhi and Perariyathavar. The National Award winning director has already made some controversies by criticizing Kerala State Award results and by making fun of the titles of recently released Malayalam movies; especially Peruchazhi.
