Suraj
Venjaramoodu
is
on
cloud
nine
after
winning
the
National
Award
for
Best
Actor
for
his
performance
in
the
movie
Perariyathavar.
But,
the
actor
is
not
over
confident
even
after
the
award
and
claims
that
his
role
in
Perariyathavar
was
the
toughest
one
he
has
ever
done
in
his
career!
Suraj
says
that
his
role
in
the
movie
is
that
of
a
sweeper
and
he
has
no
name.
He
is
doing
the
job
for
the
past
15
years
and
in
most
of
the
scenes,
there
were
no
dialogues
and
he
had
to
express
it
through
the
emotions,
which
was
quite
challenging.
Adding
on,
Suraj
says
that
he
has
entered
the
film
industry
as
a
comedian
and
he
got
his
recognition
for
the
same.
So,
he
confirms
that
he
will
continue
doing
the
sam
ekind
of
roles
even
in
his
future
moviea
and
does
not
wish
to
be
a
typo-cast.
Suraj
says
that
he
was
quite
surprised
when
director
Dr
Biju
appraoched
him
for
doing
the
role
in
Perariyathavar.
But,
the
director
showed
his
confidence
in
him
and
this
has
helped
him
to
do
well
in
the
movie.
Meanwhile,
there
are
two
projects
on
roll
for
the
actor.
One
is
Subil
Surendran's
comedy-drama
Ente
Sathyanweshana
Pareekshakal.
It
is
scripted
by
Shankar
Ramakrishnan
and
tells
the
story
of
a
comedian,
who
deals
with
depression.
Another
one
is
Anil
Gopinath's
Garbhasreeman,
where
he
plays
a
pregnant
man.
