Reenu Mathews To Join Mohanlal And Manju Warrier

Reenu Mathews will play a pivotal role in the upcoming Mohanlal-Manju Warrier starrer, directed by Sathyan Anthikad. The actress, who has shared screen with Mammootty and Prithviraj earlier, is teaming up with Mohanlal for the first time in her career. The movie, which is said to be a feel-good entertainer, is all set to go on floors by November 1^st.

Reportedly, Reenu Mathews will be joining the sets of the movie from the second schedule, which is planned to start from December 10^th. Director Sathyan Anthikad himself revealed about the new addition to the cast of the movie, in a recent interview given to a leading daily. Sathyan says that so many actresses were considered for the role; but finally Reenu was roped in, as the makers felt that she is the perfect choice for the role.

Reenu Mathews made her acting debut with Lal Jose directed Mammootty starrer Emmanuel. The actress paired up with Mammootty for the second time in Praise The Lord. Reenu shared screen Prithviraj in recently released superhit movie Sapthamashree Thaskaraha. She has also appeared in the segment Kullante Bharya, directed by Amal Neerad, from the anthology movie 5 Sundarikal. Reenu will be next seen in the and upcoming movie Iyobinte Pusthakam.

Mohanlal and Manju Warrier are sharing screen, after a long gap of 15 years. The untitled movie will also have Innocent in another pivotal role. Rest of the cast is yet to be revealed. Sameer Thahir handles the cinematography and Vidyasagar composes the music. The movie, produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner Ashirwad Cinemas, is slated to release for Vishu.
