Shashi Tharoor, the former cabinet minister, is all set to make his acting debut. Shashi Tharoor will play the lead role in Rajeevnath's next directorial venture, which is an adaption of the acclaimed short story Pothichoru, written by Karoor Neelakanta Pillai. Mohanlal was earlier considered for the role; but later got replaced with Shashi Tharoor.
The movie, which is reportedly titled as Onnam Sir, is produced by a famous French production company. The project will go on floors soon.
