She Taxi Starts Rolling

She Taxi, the upcoming movie starring Anoop Menon and Kavya Madhavan in the lead roles started rolling. The movie is directed by Saji Surendran. Kavya will play a she taxi driver Devayani, while Anoop essays a passenger. Anoop Menon and Kavya Madhavan are pairing up for the first time in their careers.

She Taxi is reportedly based on a she taxi driver, who makes a trip to Coorg with 3 college students and the incidents she faces during the journey. Ansiba Hassana and two newcomers will essay the other key roles in the movie. Reportedly, Kavya's character is a girl who hails from a village of Northern Kerala; like her real self.

Along with Kavya Madhavan and Anoop Menon, Suraj Venjarammoodu, P Balachandran, Nobi, Ganesh Kumar and Baiju will play the other pivotal roles in the movie. She Taxi is penned by Saji Surendran himself along with Krishna Poojapura. Anil Nair handles the cinematography and Bijibal composes the music.

The movie was about to start filming from October first week; but got postponed due to unknown reasons. She Taxi, produced by Abraham Mathew and T M Rafeeq under the banner Abaam Movies, is slated to release in January 2015.
