Amala
Paul,
though
a
Malayali
by
birth,
made
her
debut
in
the
Tamil
industry
and
rose
to
fame
with
her
debut
flick
Mynaa.
She
even
won
many
laurels
for
her
debut
movie.
The
actress
was
first
seen
in
a
Malayalam
movie
opposite
Mohanlal,
in
Run
Baby
Run.
Later,
she
was
seen
along
with
Fahad
Fazil
in
Oru
Indian
Pranayakadha.
When
asked
about
her
favourite
heroines,
Amala
Paul
did
not
think
too
much
and
gave
her
answer
-
Shobana
and
Revathy!
Now,
this
answer
is
not
that
surprising.
They
are
the
favourites
of
most
of
the
Malayalis.
The
characters
they
have
portrayed
are
still
a
legend.
Amala
says
she
has
many
more
favourite
stars,
but
the
most
favourites
are
these
two.
Amala
is
so
happy
with
the
response
she
is
getting
for
her
character
in
Oru
Indian
Pranayakadha.
She
said
that
she
was
lucky
enough
to
get
a
role
in
a
Sathyan
Anthikkad
movie
and
also
she
was
able
to
give
her
best.
She
also
added
that
she
was
surprised
to
see
the
dedication
Fahad
Fazil
had
shown
throughout
the
film.
Amala
is
currently
filming
for
her
Tamil
movie
with
Dhanush.
She
goes
all
praise
for
the
actor
and
says
that
she
has
never
seen
an
actor
like
him
who
works
like
a
robot,
and
that
too
even
without
sleep.
She
is
also
excited
about
her
movie
directed
by
Samudrakkani
and
says
that
the
role
will
be
one
of
her
best
roles
in
her
Tamil
career.
Amala
says
that
she
is
in
no
hurry
to
set
her
foot
in
Bollywood.
She
adds
that
she
has
now
been
able
to
become
a
fine
actress
with
some
good
roles
in
the
South.
And
so,
she
does
not
want
to
spoil
it
by
jumping
into
Bollywood.
If
she
gets
a
good
role
worth
performing,
Amala
says
she
is
ready
to
do
a
Hindi
film.
