Siddique-Lal Duo To Direct Dileep In King Liar

After lot of speculations, finally Siddique-Lal duo is teaming up after a long break of 15 years. The most celebrated director duo is all set to direct Dileep in their upcoming movie, which is reportedly titled as King Liar. If the reports are to be believed, King Liar will go on floors immediately after Siddique's upcoming Mammootty starrer Bhaskar The Rascal.

Siddique-Lal last joined hands for the blockbuster movie Friends, which had Jayaram, Mukesh and Sreenivasan in the lead roles. The duo started their career as mimicry artists, in the popular mimicry school Kalabhavan. Later they started working as assistant directors under veteran director Fazil.

The duo made their screenwriting debut with the movie Pappan Priyappetta Pappan, directed by Sathyan Anthikad. They later wrote the story and screenplay for the evergreen comedy Nadodikattu, which is also directed by Sathyan Anthikad, with Mohanlal and Sreenivasan in leads.

The team made their directorial debut with super hit movie Ramji Rao Speaking. The duo has also worked for some blockbuster movies such as Godfather which is considered as the highest running movie of Mollywood, Vietnam Colony, Kabooliwala, Hitler etc.

If everything falls in place, it will be a dream-come-true opportunity for Dileep, who has always expressed his deep desire to work with Siddique-Lal duo. The actor, who is going through a low phase in his career with consecutive failures, has decided to become more careful about the movies he choose. The actor is now filming for Ivan Maryada Raman, which is a remake of Telugu super hit Maryada Ramanna.
