According to the latest speculations, recently married actress Amala Paul and director A L Vijay are expecting their first child. Amala Paul, who celebrated her birthday yesterday at Macau, tweeted that her beloved husband Vijay gave her the best gift a woman could ever wish for. However, Amala and Vijay are yet to announce the good news officially.

Amala Paul and A L Vijay fell in love during the filming of his highly acclaimed movie Deiva Thirumagal, in which Amala Paul played a pivotal role along with Vikram, Anushka Shetty and Baby Sarah. The actress later paired up with actor Vijay, in her husband Vijay's another directorial venture Thalaivaa. The couple tied the knot in June 2014.
Amala Paul made her acting debut with Lal Jose directed Neelathamara, in a small role. The actress rose to fame with Prabhu Soloman directed Mynaa. The movie went on to become a huge critical and commercial success; thus establishing Amala Paul as one of the leading actresses of Tamil and Telugu movie industries.

Amala, who decided to continue her acting career post marriage, is currently filming for her second association with Joshiy and Mohanlal, Lailaa O Lailaa. She has completed shooting of her upcoming project Mili, directed by Rajesh Pillai.
