Vinayan Withdraws Little Superman From Theatres

Director Vinayan, who always stays in the headline with controversies, has stunned the audience and media with his decision to withdraw his recently released movie Little Superman from the theatres. The movie, which released on November 7th, has been receiving huge criticisms for portraying kids in a wrong manner.

Little Superman revolves around a boy named Willie, who avenge the death of his parents. Earlier, Olympian Bobby Aloysius had filed a complaint against the Vinayan and the movie, for portraying romantic songs and scenes which feature Master Deni and Baby Nayanthara. Vinayan has been criticized for depicting romance between the lead characters, who are just 12 years old.

Vinayan Withdraws Little Superman From Theatres

Vinayan is reportedly planning to re-shoot some scenes and the climax of the movie. The director revealed his decision through his official Facebook page. Vinayan states that he doesn't regret about the content of the movie, and is absolutely satisfied with the final product; but has decided to re-shoot some selected scenes and climax, upon the request of CMI Christian Herald.

Little Superman is receiving mixed reviews from the audience and critics. The movie is appreciated for its graphic work and technical excellence; at the same time, has been receiving negative reviews for its repetitive theme, which resembles some famous fantasy movies and the content which promotes violence among kids.
