Njan is an upcoming movie directed by Ranjith, staring Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role. Njan is based on the novel K T N Kottur Ezhuthum Jeevithavum written by T P Rajeevan. The official trailer of the movie has been released. Njan is slated to release on September 19th.

The trailer, which is 1.05 minutes long, is featured in a poetic way. It develops through some stunning visuals of the folklore artform Theyyam, a theatre group and a group of people who discusses about K T N Kottur.
The movie revolves around a young man, Ravi who comes to Kottur village to write the autobiography of freedom fighter K T N Kottur. Dulquer Salmaan is playing dual roles, for the first time in his career, in Njan. He will play the young writer Ravi and freedom fighter K T N Kottur, in the movie.
Joy Mathew, Suresh Krishna, Harish Perady, Saiju Kurup, Irshad, Jayan Cherthala, Anumol, Jyothi Krishna, Shruthi Ramachandran and Muthumani plays the other pivotal roles in the movie. T P Rajeevan pens the script. Manoj Pillai is the director of photography and Sandeep Nandakumar handles the editing. Bijibal composes the music. Njan is produced by Ranjith himself, under the banner Gold Coin Motion Pictures.
