Abhirami Slaps Asif Ali!

Abhirami, the actress who is busy filming for the upcoming movie Driver On Duty, says that she slapped her co-star Asif Ali. Wait! We are not talking about the real life; but the characters in the movie. Abhirami says that there are so many scenes in the movie, in which she slaps co-star Asif Ali.

Driver On Duty, directed by Manoj Palodan revolves around a young police man Ramakrishnan, who joins a women police station as a driver and his clashes with inspector Arundhathi Varma, the in-charge of the station. Asif Ali and Abhirami plays Ramakrishnan and Arundathi Varma respectively.

The actress says that Arundathi Varma is a challenging yet interesting role in her career. Arundathi is a strict police officer who frequently clash with her driver. Asif Ali is essaying the first police character in his career in the movie.

The character of Abhirami is inspired from the first women police officer of Kerala, Kuttiyamma. Janani Iyer will play the love interest of Asif Ali in the movie. Sajitha Madathil, Sruthilakshmi, Krishna Prabha, Sneha and Neena Kurup essyas the supporting roles in the movie. Hari Nair handles the cinematography.
