BOX OFFICE: Anarkali 5 Days Collection Report

Anarkali, the Prithviraj starrer which marked the directorial debut of popular scenarist Sachi, is performing extremely well at the box office. Prithvi has managed to score a hat-trick this year, with the success of Anarkali.

When it completed the 5th day of release, Anarkali has collected around 4.5 crores, just from the Kerala box office. Reportedly, the movie had a highly successful opening, with a gross collection of 1.10 Crores on the day of release.

But on the second day, the movie failed to make it big and ended up with 1 Crore gross collection. But Anarkali made a good comeback on Sunday, the third day of release, by making a collection of 1.20 Crores.

Even though Anarkali is getting excellent reports from the audiences and critics; the heavy rain is badly affecting the box office collections. The movie is expected to gain back the theatres' rush, by this weekend.

The team hopes that the new releases will not affect the collection of Anarkali, as the movie is getting great word of mouth publicity. The analysts are yet to calculate the box office collections from the outer states.
