Chandrettan Evideya On May 1

Chandrettan Evideya, the upcoming Dileep starrer family entertainer, directed by Siddharth Bharathan, will hit the theatres on May 1st. The movie will have Anusree and Namitha Pramod in the female leads.

Reportedly, Chandrettan Evideya, will have Dileep in the title role Chandran. Anusree will essay Chandran's dominant yet loving wife Sushama and Namitha Pramod essays his love interest Anjali, a classical dancer.

The movie is said to be a complete famliy entertainer, which revolves around the title character Chandran, who starts an affair with dancer Anjali, to escape the boredom created by his dominant wife Sushama, who tries to control him in every manner possible.

Chandrettan Evideya will have an ensemble star cast, including Mukesh, KPAC Lalitha, Suraj Venjarammoodu, Kochu Preman, Chemban Vinod Jose, Vinayakan, Veena Nair etc in the supporting roles. The movie is penned by Santhosh Echikanam.

It is an ambitious project for Dileep, who received huge criticisms for his last few releases. And it is the first collaboration of the actor with the so-called 'new generation' filmmakers. Dileep is associating with a new team, after a very long gap.

This movie is the second directorial venture of actor-director Siddharth Bharathan. The movie is produced by Siddharth's close friends, filmmakers Sameer Thahir, Shyju Khalid and Aashiq Usman.
